Therapies Offered - How I Work

I am an integrated therapist which means that I generally work by combining a variety of counselling models which are tailored to suit your individual needs. The foundation of counselling offers listening skills in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment that encourages growth and change.  I also draw from CBT and psychodynamic methods.  If you are interested in different types of therapy used please see the Supervision section for my full range.

The first session is an opportunity to ask questions and discuss what problems you are struggling with and whether you would like to take things forward to another session.

I believe that one of the main purposes of the counselling process is to develop emotional strength through the process and to enable you to effectively achieve your goals.  I aim to improve a person's health and wellbeing and offer a service which empowers a person to maintain control of their life and to find their own solutions.
